2025 Suzuki VStrom 800DE launched at Rs 10.30 lakh

2025 Suzuki VStrom 800DE launched at Rs 10.30 lakh

Suzuki has just launched the 2025 version of its V-Strom 800 DE Adventure bike in India and the changes are quite minimal.

  1. Meets latest emissions requirements
  2. Gets one new colour scheme

Suzuki V-Strom 800DE updated

Its mechanically unchanged but gets one new colour

The Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE has been on sale in India for over a year and the company has just launched the latest version of its mid-size ADV in our market. Changes for 2025 are minimal, with the bike now being OBD-2B emissions compliant and receiving new colour schemes.

The new colour in question is Pearl Tech White, which now gets blue rims instead of gold while the Glass Sparkle Black and Champion Yellow No 2 are carried over from before. All other visual elements on the motorcycle are otherwise the same as before and that includes the 5-inch TFT display.

Mechanically, the V-Strom 800 DE continues with its 776cc parallel twin engine that produces the same 84hp and 78Nm as before. The V-Strom weighs a sizable 232kg but also has a significant 220mm of suspension travel. Throw in 21-inch/17-inch wheel sizes as well as fully adjustable suspension and this bike has some proper off-road capability, as we discovered when we reviewed it.

While not much has changed on the V-Strom, the good news is that the same applies to the price. In March 2024, Suzuki initially launched the bike at an introductory price of Rs 10.30 lakh which was never raised, and the company has continued that same price into 2025.
