Triumph has updated the Daytona 660 for 2026 with suspension upgrades, new tyres and added features, while the rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged.

The Daytona gets new colours with fresh graphics
The key update comes in the form of the Showa 41mm USD fork, that now offers compression and rebound adjustability, allowing for a wider range of front-end setup. At the rear, the Showa monoshock continues to be preload adjustable only, unlike the Triumph Trident 660 which features rebound damping adjustment.
The Daytona 660 also now runs on Metzeler Sporttec M9 RR tyres instead of the earlier Michelin Power 6 units. This change could translate to improved grip and feedback depending on riding conditions. Triumph has also made a bi-directional quickshifter standard on the updated model, which was earlier offered as an accessory.
The Daytona 660 also gets a fresh palette of colours – black, silver and yellow – with refreshed and sportier graphics, as opposed to simple stickering on the current model.
Beyond these updates, the Daytona 660 remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 660cc inline triple engine producing 95hp and 68Nm, paired to a six-speed gearbox. The bike retains its steel perimeter frame, Showa rear suspension, twin front disc brakes with radial calipers, and a riding position defined by clip-on handlebars mounted above the top yoke and moderately rear-set footpegs.
In the UK, the Daytona 660’s price has risen to GBP 8,995 from GBP 8,595, which translates to a price hike of Rs 50,000. This premium seems understandable considering the added features on offer. In India, the bike is currently priced at Rs 9.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it remains to be seen what the updated model costs if and when the brand brings it here.
With the Daytona being the final model to be updated for this year, Triumph concludes its 2026 roll-out of 29 new and updated models announced last November.
