Anti-lock braking system or ABS is a safety feature that can prove to be invaluable on our treacherous roads. Without further ado then, here are the ten most affordable motorcycles in the country that come with ABS. It bears mentioning that all the bikes on this list have single-channel ABS only.

10. Yamaha FZ S Fi

Priced at Rs 1.35 lakh
Kicking things off is the Yamaha FZ-S Fi. The original FZ16 has cemented Yamaha’s reputation in India and even today the FZ range of models are strong sellers for the brand. Recently, the FZ’s prices have been increasing steadily and the FZ-S Fi is the most expensive bike on this list. Which should give you an idea of how affordable the other options are. 9. TVS Apache RTR 160 2V

Priced at Rs 1.26 lakh
Just like the aforementioned FZ, the Apache brand has also cemented TVS’ reputation in India. The variant of the Apache RTR 160 2V that offers ABS is the “RM Disc” that costs Rs 1.26 lakh. The 2V model has been updated incrementally through the years and despite newer machines available from TVS, this one remains a strong-seller.
8. Honda SP160

Priced at Rs 1.22 lakh
Honda recently launched the SP160, which uses the fundamentals of the Unicorn, draped in styling resembling that of the smaller SP125. Priced at Rs 1.22 lakh, this model recently received an update which brought in a TFT display, OBD-2B compliance and a hike in price by Rs 2,000.
7. Honda Unicorn

Priced at Rs 1.20 lakh
One of the most successful models for Honda in India, the Unicorn (currently priced at Rs 1.20 lakh) had earlier secured fifth spot in our list but owing to the recent Rs 7,000 price hike due to the OBD-2B update, addition of LED headlight– the Unicorn has now slipped to the seventh spot. This price hike has done little-to-none damage to the Unicorn’s sales and despite having basically the same design as it did all those years ago, its massive brand recall helps the Unicorn sell like droves even today.
6. Yamaha FZ Fi

Priced at Rs 1.18 lakh
The most affordable way to get yourself a Yamaha FZ today is by shelling out Rs 1.18 lakh for the entry-level FZ Fi. The FZ Fi is based on the FZ V3 and still uses the older design and gets fewer features in comparison.
5. Bajaj Pulsar N150

Priced at Rs 1.14 lakh
The Pulsar N150 is a recent entrant to this list. Priced at Rs 1.14 lakh, the Pulsar N150 gets dual-channel ABS from its base variant as standard. In terms of features, it gets an LED Projector headlamp, digital display with Bluetooth connectivity.

Priced from Rs 1.14 lakh
The original Bajaj Pulsar 150 is still going strong more than two decades later and finds a spot on this list at Rs 1.14 lakh. Despite the newer Pulsar NS and N models, the original Pulsar shape continues to find takers due to its established identity.
3. Hero Xtreme 160R 2V

Priced at Rs 1.12 lakh
The Hero Xtreme 160R 2V, at Rs 1.12 lakh, also finds a spot on this list. The Xtreme 160R has always been a light, nimble, frugal and affordable model, which has worked in its favour.
2. Bajaj Pulsar NS125

Priced at Rs 1.07 lakh
The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is the latest addition to this list, as Bajaj has recently updated this model with ABS. Although the NS125 starts at Rs 1 lakh, an additional Rs 7,000 over that amount will get you the top-spec “LED BT ABS” variant. Which not only adds ABS to the list but also adds convenience features such as an all LED headlight and a digital console with bluetooth. Incidentally, the NS125 is also the first 125cc Pulsar to get ABS.
1. Hero Xtreme 125R

Priced at Rs 1.02 lakh
At Rs 1.02 lakh, the smallest Xtreme from Hero manages to just about cross the Rs 1 lakh mark. Earlier, the Xtreme 125R was priced right under the Rs 1 lakh mark (Rs 99,500). But a recent increment of Rs 1,600 has changed that although the Xtreme 125R still manages to undercut its rival the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 by Rs 5,000. That said, the Xtreme 125R is currently the most affordable offering in India with ABS.
