The Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two is the fastest Range Rover SUV of all time. Under its hood lies a BMW-sourced 4.4-litre twin-turbo petrol V8, which is mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox that sends drive to all four wheels. In the RR Sport SV’s top-spec Edition Two trim, this massive block is tuned to generate 635hp and 750Nm (800Nm with dynamic launch mode). The 0-100kph sprint is done in a brisk 3.8 seconds, topping out at 290kph. And now in its third generation, the RR Sport has shifted to Jaguar Land Rover’s modular MLA-Flex architecture. It also looks a bit sleeker and meaner than its predecessor, and packs features like a 13.1-inch touchscreen, Meridian signature sound, illuminated metal treadplates, and a full ADAS suite.
