What is the Tiago EV price?
Rs 7.99 lakh onwards
Tata sells the Tiago EV in medium and long-range guises. The ex-showroom price for the base Tiago EV XE MR is Rs 7.99 lakh, followed by XT MR and LR trims at Rs 8.99 lakh and Rs 10.14 lakh, respectively. The top-spec XZ Plus Tech Lux LR is the priciest of the lot at Rs 11.79 lakh; the XZ Plus variant is no longer on sale. Interestingly, prices of some Tiago EV variants have dropped by up to Rs 50,000 since its 2022 launch, and at the time, it had a price bracket of Rs 8.49 lakh-11.79 lakh.
What is the Tiago EV range and what battery options are offered?

The Tiago EV medium range is fitted with a 19.2kWh battery pack, which powers a 61hp, 110Nm motor. Its long-range version, as suggested by the name, gets a larger 24kWh unit and runs a 75hp, 114Nm motor. When it comes to the most crucial factor for electric vehicles, range, the Tiago EV LR offers 293km. In comparison, the MR variant delivers 223km (70km less). The above-mentioned ranges are MIDC-rated. In our real-world tests, the Tiago EV 24kWh returned 187km on a combined city and highway cycle, delivering a respectable efficiency of 7.77 km/ kWh. It should be noted that the tested model was not of the model year 2025.
Does the Tiago EV come with a fast charger?
7.2kW AC charger can be optioned for Rs 61,000
A 3.3kW AC wall box charger is standard, though Tiago EV buyers can opt for a 7.2kW AC unit for Rs 61,000 (including GST). The Tiago EV is also compatible with DC fast charging. Check out the table below for Tiago EV charging times.

How much is the Tiago EV per km running cost?
Rs 0.82-0.86 (at Rs 10 per unit)
Considering a Rs 10 rate per unit, a full charge from nil should amount to Rs 192 for the Tiago EV MR, whereas, the Tiago EV LR takes this up to Rs 240 for the same. Based on the MIDC ranges of these batteries, as mentioned earlier, the respective per km running cost comes to Rs 0.86 and Rs 0.82.
What are the Tiago EV features?
10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay
With the January model year update, the Tiago EV gained a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay, a Punch EV-like two-spoke steering wheel and new grey-black upholstery colour. Other features on offer include 14-inch wheels, LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, quad-speaker setup, cooled glovebox, cruise control and drive modes.
In terms of safety equipment, the Tiago EV packs dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold assist, ISOFIX seat anchors and smartphone connectivity for telematics.
