The Guwahati High Court has announced the recruitment of over 360 Junior Administrative Assistant (JAA) positions across 34 districts in Assam. The selection process for these positions will involve a written test, and applications will be accepted starting from July 15. The last date to apply is July 31, 2025. Candidates need to visit the official website, ghconline.gov.in to apply for the job.
“Online applications are invited till 5.00 PM of 31/07/2025 from the citizens of India as defined under Article 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India for filling up of the following vacancies of Junior Administrative Assistants in the district courts of Assam, in the scale of pay Rs.14,000-70000/- with Grade pay of Rs. 6200/- and other allowances admissible as per Rules,” reads the official notice.
Guwahati High Court Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognised university and be proficient in Assamese, the official language of Assam. Additionally, a certificate for a three-month computer course and a valid employment registration number from Assam are required. Applicants should be aged between 18 and 40 years, with age relaxation available for reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC.

– Rs 500 for General and OBC candidates.
– Rs 250 for SC/ST and PWD (Divyang) candidates.
Fees must be paid online using a debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking.
