The Vida VX2 is offered in two variants – Go and Plus – with different battery capacities.
The new Vida VX2 electric scooter from Hero is one of a few electric scooters today that can be bought via the BaaS (Battery as a Subscription) model. The idea behind this is to reduce the amount you need to pay when purchasing the scooter, thereby making the VX2 more accessible.
Hero Fincorp and Vidyuttech Services Pvt. Ltd. are the two financiers whose services can be availed when purchasing the Vida VX2 on the BaaS plan. It bears mentioning that when you buy a Vida VX2, unlike with the Honda Activa electric, battery ownership is tied in with the scooter and it is not part of the swapping network. You need to pay a fee every month – only if purchased via BaaS, not if bought outright, and once the plan duration is complete, the customer has full ownership over the scooter and its batteries.
Payments for the VX2’s BaaS service differ with each plan which we will break down along with its cost in this story.
