JoSAA Counselling 2025: Students selected in Round 5 of the counselling seat allotment process must complete the online reporting process by July 14.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the round 5 seat allotment results today, July 11. Candidates who took part in the second round can now check their results by visiting JoSAA’s official website at josaa.nic.in. They will need to enter their JEE Main or JEE Advanced login details to view the results.
Students selected in Round 5 of the counselling seat allotment process must complete the online reporting process by July 14. To accept their seats, they need to pay the required fee and upload scanned copies of the necessary documents.
Candidates can initiate seat withdrawal and exit from the seat allocation process between July 12, 2025, and July 14, 2025. The final round of seat allocation concludes on July 21, 2025.
JoSAA Counselling 2025: How to Check Round 5 Seat Allotment Results?
Step 1: Visit the official JoSAA Counselling website at josaa.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the round 5 seat allotment result.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials to sign in.
Step 4: The allocation letter and seat allotment result for the final round will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download the allotment result for future reference.
JoSAA Counselling 2025: Documents Required
Selected candidates will have to upload the following documents:
–– JEE Main Admit Card 2025
–– Advanced JEE Admit Card
–– Letter of Provisional Seat Allocation
–– Grade 10 and 12 certificates along with a proof of birth
–– Identity Card with a photo
–– Three passport-sized pictures
–– Health Certificate
–– Certificate of Category, if applicable
–– PwD Certificate, if needed
–– PIO Card or OCI Certificate (if appropriate)
–– Print copy of completed seat allotment choices
–– Proof of SBI Internet Banking or e-challan fee payment for seat acceptance
JoSAA counselling is held for admission to B.Tech courses in India’s top government technical institutes, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Government-Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).
After this, the sixth round seat allotment list will be published on July 16.
