UGC NET Result 2025 June Session Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the result of the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2025 soon. Candidates who took the exam can check their results on the official UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The process for filing objections to the UGC NET answer key concluded on July 8. The website also provided the question papers and the answers given by the candidates along with the answer key. Candidates were allowed to file objections by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question.
NTA stated that a committee of experts will review these objections. If an objection is deemed valid, the relevant answer will be revised, and the change will apply to all candidates. After expert verification, the provisional answer key will be released and the exam results will be based on it. No candidate will receive individual notification regarding the acceptance or rejection of their objection.
The exam was held from June 25 to 29, 2025 in Computer Based Mode (CBT) for a total of 85 subjects.

Step 1 – Visit the official website of UGC NET ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2 – Click on the “UGC NET June 2025 Result” link given on the homepage.
Step 3 – Enter your login ID and password.
Step 4 – Your result will appear on the screen.
Step 5 – Check the result and download and print it.
UGC NET June 2025 Result: Check Past Trends
According to previous year’s data, the UGC NET results are usually announced within 30 to 40 days. The results of the June 2024 exam which ended on September 5, 2024, were declared on October 17, 2024. While the December 2024 exams were held from January 3 to 27, 2025 and the results were released on February 22, 2025. The December 2023 exam concluded on December 19, 2023, and the results were announced on January 19, 2024. Hence, by looking at the past year’s trends, the results could be out by July-end.
To qualify for the UGC NET exam, candidates need to score above 40 per cent in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The cut-off marks determine eligibility for the exam.
