The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET PG 2025 exam city allotment slip on July 21. Candidates will receive the information on their registered email IDs. It will not be released on the exam website at natboard.edu.in.

According to the official notice, the allocation of the test city to a candidate will be done randomly from the choices provided to the candidates at the time of application, and these four choices will not be considered as an order of preference of test cities.

The admit cards will be issued on July 31.

‘The test city allocated to the candidates by NBEMS shall be communicated to all applicants of NEETPG 2025 through email on 21.07.2025 at their registered email IDs. The exact venue in the test city allocated shall be intimated through admit card which shall be released on 31.07.2025,” reads the official notice.

NEET PG 2025: How To Check Exam City Slip?

Step 1 – Check for the message that was sent by NBEMS by going to your registered mail or mobile number.

Step 2 – Make sure that all the information on the slip is correct, including your name, registration number and assigned city.

Step 3 – Review the personal information and screen save or download the city slip for later use.

NEET PG 2025 Exam Pattern

The NEET PG test will be administered using a computer-based test mode (CBT). The exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions for 800 marks. Four marks will be given for each right response, and one mark will be subtracted for each incorrect response.

The NEET PG paper will be divided into five sections, each consisting of 40 questions. The total time allotted is 3 hours 30 minutes. Each section is timed and studnets can move on to the next section only after the time for the first section is over. They cannot go back to the previous section either. NEET PG will have questions from 19 MBBS subjects divided into pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical subjects.

To be considered for admission to 26,699 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,886 Master of Surgery (MS) and 922 PG Diploma seats, candidates must pass the NEET PG 2025 exam.
