BHU Admission 2025: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has cautioned students to be wary of fraudulent messages concerning admission. The university issued a notice stating that some candidates are receiving texts with false claims about bypassing the usual admission process. BHU clarified that it does not use WhatsApp or any informal platform to disseminate admission information.
This alert follows multiple complaints from students about unsolicited messages containing unverified links or website URLs. The university has warned that these messages may be part of a scam, urging students to ignore them.
Meanwhile, BHU has commenced the registration for undergraduate courses for the 2025 academic session. Students who have passed the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 can apply until July 31 via the official BHU website, bhu.ac.in or bhucuet.samarth.edu.in.
BHU has emphasised that all official admission-related messages are sent only from two authorized email addresses: admission.help@bhu.ac.in and admission@bhu.ac.in. Information is provided on candidates’ registered email IDs and the student portal.
The university reiterated that it does not send admission confirmations or information through unofficial mediums like WhatsApp. Students are advised to rely solely on information received from the university’s official portal and email.

BHU Admission 2025 via CUET Scores: How To Apply?
Step 1 – Go to the Candidate Login section and log in using your NTA application number and date of birth. Select the UG course.
Step 2 – Provide details such as your name, address, mobile number, and email.
Step 3 – Upload the 10th and 12th mark sheets, photo, and signature.
Step 4 – Pay the required fees.
Step 5 – Submit the form. Save and take a print out for further reference.
The university will release a merit list consisting of all the candidates selected for admission to the varsity soon after the application process is over.
Students are requested to regularly check their registered email IDs and the official BHU admission page for updates to avoid falling victim to fraud.
