The Directorate of Government Exams Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) is anticipated to release the Class 10 and 12 board supplementary exam results for 2025 soon. According to media reports, the results could be out by the third week of July. However, the exact date and time for the announcement of the online scorecards is yet to be disclosed by the board.
Candidates who appeared for the TNDGE 10th and 12th supplementary exams can access their results, once available, on the official websites — dge.tn.gov.in, tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, apply1.tndge.org, dge2.tn.nic.in, and apply1.tndge.org. Additionally, students can check their TN results via SMS as well as on the DigiLocker app.

TN Class 10, 12 Supplementary Result 2025: How to Download?
Step 1: Visit the TN board’s official website, dge.tn.gov.in
Step 2: Locate and click on the Class 10/12 supply result link on the homepage.
Step 3: In the new window, enter the roll number and any additional information required. Then click the submit button.
Step 4: The Tamil Nadu 10th/12th Result 2025 will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Review and download your TN class 10/12 supply results.
Step 6: Keep a printed copy of the results for future reference.

To check results via SMS, students must first input their registration number and date of birth in the format shown below:

TN Class 10, 12 Supplementary Result 2025: Passing Marks
Students need to obtain a minimum of 35 marks in theory to pass the board exams. For languages and subjects without practicals, students must secure at least 25 out of 90 marks. For vocational subjects with practicals, candidates need to achieve a minimum of 20 marks out of 75 in the practical exam.
If a candidate fails to achieve the minimum marks, they can apply for the supplementary exams. They can also request a re-evaluation of their answer sheets.
