The Indian Navy has announced the recruitment of 1,266 Civilian Tradesman Skilled positions. These vacancies span various technical domains such as electrical, electronics, shipbuilding, and weapon systems.
Candidates who have completed Class 10 and possess an ITI certificate or relevant military/industrial training are eligible to apply for the Civilian Tradesman Skilled posts. The online application process will begin on August 13, 2025, and will close on September 2, 2025.
According to the official notice, candidates can apply for only one trade. Eligible candidates will receive an admit card to take the exam for their selected trade. Since all trade examinations occur on the same date and time, candidates can only appear for the trade they applied for in their last submitted application, which must be proper and complete in all aspects.

Step 1: Register online for creating Login ID and Password.
Step 2: Login using the Login ID and Password generated in the first step.
Step 3: Fill in the detailed application form.
Step 4: Upload all the required documents including photo and signature.
Step 5: Preview/Print the application form.
Step 6: Submit the form.
Indian Navy Recruitment 2025: Selection process
The selection process consists of a written test followed by a skill/trade test. Shortlisted candidates will first take the written exam, which assesses trade knowledge and general skills. Those who pass will then participate in a skill/trade test to demonstrate their practical abilities. Successful candidates will have their documents verified and undergo a medical check to ensure fitness for Navy service.

Candidate will be considered in the provisional order of merit and in the provisional select list only in the Yard trade i.e. Trades in Yards/Units for which admit card has been issued, reads the official notice.
Indian Navy Recruitment 2025: Salary Details
The salary for selected candidates will range from Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200 per month, along with allowances.
