5. Triumph Trident 660 (81hp/190kg) – 426.31hp/tonne
The Triumph Trident 660 is priced at Rs 8.49 lakh
The Triumph Trident 660 is powered by a 660cc inline-triple that produces 81hp and 64Nm. It received a notable update earlier this year, adding features such as a Showa Big Piston fork, a bi-directional quickshifter, Bluetooth connectivity, and cruise control as standard. While it makes the least power on this list, its comparatively light kerb weight helps it secure a spot on the list.
4. Honda CB650R (95hp/207kg) – 458.93hp/tonne
The Honda CB650R is priced at Rs 9.20 lakh
Honda reintroduced the CB650R in India earlier this year. It’s powered by a 649cc, inline-four engine that produces 95hp and 63Nm. Features include a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, traction control, and Honda’s E-Clutch system which lets you shift gears, come to a stop, and pull away again without having to use the clutch lever.
3. Triumph Daytona 660 (95hp/201kg) – 472.63hp/tonne

The Daytona 660 is powered by the same engine as the aforementioned Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, but in a higher state of tune. Peak output figures on the Daytona are 95hp at 11,250rpm and 69Nm at 8,250rpm. That makes it 14hp more powerful than its naked sibling, but the added bodywork also brings an additional 11kg over the Trident.
2. Honda CB750 Hornet (92hp/192kg) – 479.16hp/tonne
The Honda CB750 Hornet is priced at Rs 8.60 lakh
The CB750 Hornet uses a 755cc parallel-twin engine shared with the XL750 Transalp, producing 92hp and 75Nm. While its peak power is slightly lower than the smaller-capacity CB650R above, the Hornet’s 15kg lighter kerb weight gives it the advantage in power-to-weight ratio. Features include a 5-inch TFT dash, four riding modes, a slipper clutch, and traction control.

For 2025, the Z900 receives a thorough update with new styling, a Bluetooth-compatible 5-inch TFT display, cruise control, and a revised electronics suite featuring ride-by-wire throttle, multiple riding modes, traction control, and a bi-directional quickshifter.

Kawasaki ZX-4R (80hp / 189kg) – 423.28hp/tonne
The Kawasaki ZX-4R is priced at Rs 8.79 lakh
On paper, the Kawasaki ZX-4R is a unique proposition. It’s priced in the same ballpark as the other bikes here, but uses an engine that’s nearly half their size. Still, that screaming 399cc inline-four can rev all the way past 15,000rpm, producing 80hp and 39Nm. With a power-to-weight ratio of 423.28hp/tonne – just shy of the Triumph Trident 660 – it narrowly misses out on a place in the top five.
