Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has announced 1543 job vacancies for the positions of Field Engineer and Supervisor. Interested candidates can apply online starting today, August 27 up till September 27, 2025 through the official website at powergrid.in.
Graduates with BE/BTech and BSc Engineering degrees, particularly those specializing in Civil, Electrical, or Electronics and Communication branches can apply for the posts. Candidates will be selected through a Common FTE Written Test. The written test for all the provisionally eligible candidates will be conducted for all the posts on PAN India basis in a single day, states the official notice.

PGCIL Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Field Engineer: Candidates must have completed BE/BTech/BSc Engineering with at least 55% marks in the relevant engineering branch, along with one year of experience.
Field Supervisor: Candidates must hold a full-time diploma in the relevant branch of engineering with at least 55% marks.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for these positions is 29 years, calculated as of September 17. Age relaxation is available for reserved category candidates.

PGCIL Field Engineer/Field Supervisor Recruitment 2025: Salary Details
Field Engineer: The basic pay is Rs 30,000 with a pay band of Rs 30,000-3%-1,20,000, plus Industrial DA, HRA, and perks. The annual salary package is approximately Rs 8.9 lakh, with perks at a minimum of 35% of the basic salary.
Field Supervisor: The monthly pay scale is Rs 23,000-3%-1,05,000, including initial basic pay of Rs 23,000, Industrial DA, HRA, and perks. The total annual CTC is around Rs 6.8 lakh, with perks up to 35% of the basic pay, given as variable pay based on performance criteria defined by the management.
