Of the total posts, there are 21 vacancies in Commerce, 6 in Computer Science, 7 in Economics, 6 in English, 7 in Hindi, 3 in History, 3 in Mathematics, 1 in Political Science, 1 in Physical Education, and 2 in Environmental Studies.
“Online applications are invited in the prescribed Application Form at web link https://rec.uod.ac.in from eligible candidates for permanent appointment to the post of Assistant Professor in various Subjects/Departments of the College in the Academic Pay Level 10 (Rs 57,700-182400) of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix in addition to other usual allowances as admissible under the rules of University of Delhi from time to time,” reads the official notice.

DU Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025: Salary Details
Upon selection, you will receive a salary starting at Rs 57,700 per month under Pay Level 10, which can go up to Rs 1,82,400. This means you will enjoy not only a good income but also respect and growth in your career.

Meanwhile, the UG admission process for graduate courses in DU is underway. Students were allowed to accept the seats by August 29. As many as 29,819 students applied in the spot round and out of these, 7,908 have been allotted seats, which means that more than 8,000 seats are still vacant.
