The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of various posts. The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation is set to fill Driver and Worker positions, with a total of 1,743 vacancies available. It includes 1,000 driver posts and 743 worker posts.
The application process will commence on October 8, 2025, and the deadline to submit is October 28, 2025. Applications must be submitted online via the website at tgprb.in.
As per the official notice, drivers will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 20,960 to Rs. 60,080, while workers will earn between Rs. 16,550 and Rs. 45,030. Candidates must note that these vacancies are temporary and TSLPRB reserves the right to make changes if needed.
TSLPRB Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications for Driver Posts:
Age Limit: Both men and women are eligible to apply for driver positions. Applicants must be aged between 22 and 35 years as of July 1, 2025. There is an additional age relaxation of up to 12 years for all categories per the government order issued on February 8, 2024. Furthermore, SC, ST, BC, and EWS categories receive an extra 5-year relaxation, and ex-servicemen get an additional 3-year exemption.
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed SSC or an equivalent examination and possess a license to drive Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles (HPMV) or Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) for at least 18 months. Candidates must be physically healthy with a distance vision of 6/6 in the vision test. Those with colour blindness are not eligible.
Eligibility for Shramik Posts:
Age Limit: Both men and women can apply for Shramik positions. Applicants should be between 18 and 30 years old as of July 1, 2025, with an additional age relaxation of up to 12 years. SC, ST, BC, and EWS categories receive an extra 5-year relaxation, and ex-servicemen get an additional 3-year exemption.
Educational Qualification: Shramik applicants must have studied ITI in trades such as Mechanic (Diesel or Motor Vehicle), Sheet Metal, MVBB, Fitter, Auto Electrician, Painter, Welder, Cutting and Sawing, or Millwright Mechanic. The trade-wise vacancies are as follows: 589 in Mechanic trade, 43 in Sheet Metal, 43 in Auto Electrician, 17 in Painter, 17 in Welder, and 17 in Cutting and Sawing.
TSLPRB Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
For the Driver post, the fee is Rs. 300 for SC and ST local candidates in Telangana, and Rs. 600 for others. For the Shramik post, the fee is Rs. 200 for SC and ST candidates in Telangana, and Rs. 400 for others. The application process is entirely online, and no manual applications will be accepted.
