RSMSSB Chairman Alok Raj explained that the result date has not yet been finalised due to objections submitted by candidates regarding the exam questions. These objections must be resolved first, followed by a normalisation process to balance the difficulty of papers across different shifts. Only after these steps are completed will the results be released. Raj mentioned that the board aims to release the results as soon as possible, though it may be challenging before Diwali. The merit list will include the names and roll numbers of candidates who have scored at or above the cut-off marks. The cut-off will vary for each category, such as General, OBC, and SC/ST, depending on several factors which include total vacancies (3,705 posts), number of candidates (6.76 lakh), difficulty level of the paper, and reservation rules.
