The application process commenced on October 3, 2025, and will conclude on October 17, 2025. The written exam will take place on December 10, 2025, in two shifts: morning and afternoon. Eligible candidates can apply online via the Staff Selection Board’s official website, esb.mp.gov.in. The application fee is Rs 500 for the general category and Rs 250 for the reserved category. It will be mandatory to bring original photo identification to the written exam. Candidates can choose any one of the following as original photo identification proof: Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, and Passport. However, one must note that Aadhaar will be valid only after verification by UIDAI. This recruitment drive is part of a larger effort by the Madhya Pradesh government, which also recently announced recruitment for 7,500 police constable positions. Together, these recruitment processes will fill over 8,000 positions in the police department.
