Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday directed officials to set clear timelines and accelerate the completion of the Amaravati capital construction works. He issued these instructions during his first review meeting at the newly inaugurated APCRDA headquarters after inspecting all floors of the complex.

Mr. Naidu reviewed the allocation of departments across different floors and sought updates on the ongoing infrastructure works across the capital region. He stressed that construction activities must proceed without delay, with sufficient manpower and machinery deployed to ensure rapid progress.

“Even though rains have slowed down work for now, construction should resume at full pace once the monsoon ends. There are no funding constraints. I will personally instruct the Finance Department to ensure smooth and timely fund releases,” the Chief Minister said. Officials briefed Mr. Naidu that essential infrastructure at the construction sites was being developed to prevent disruptions.

Union Minister Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana, MLAs Tenali Sravan Kumar, Dhulipalla Narendra, and Kolikapudi Srinivas, along with senior officials of the Municipal Administration Department and the CRDA, attended the review meeting.
