Coach PR Sreejesh commented on the team selection, stating, “We have chosen a tried-and-tested team, with most players having a good understanding of the demands of a tournament of this calibre. We considered their physical capabilities, skills, team play, and their mental ability to perform under pressure.”

This has been crucial for building the players’ confidence. Overall, we are a confident side and eager to perform well in front of our home crowd.”
