Eligibility Criteria
- SAIL has specified that recruitment is open only to candidates from seven engineering disciplines: Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, and Metallurgy.
- Freshers may apply, provided they meet the academic requirements.
- General and OBC candidates must have at least 65% marks in every semester.
- SC, ST, and PwD candidates require 55% marks.
- The upper age limit is 28 years, with relaxations as per government rules.

- Rs 1050 for General and OBC

Selected candidates will undergo one year of training with a stipend of Rs 50,000 plus allowances. After confirmation, the pay scale rises to Rs 60,000-Rs 1,80,000 per month, with further increments through promotions.
