The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur has introduced India’s first MBA programme with built-in Artificial Intelligence (AI) learning for working professionals. Developed in collaboration with Futurense Technologies, the two-year course aims to prepare mid-career managers for a business environment where AI influences almost every decision.
The online programme includes two on-campus sessions at the IIM Sirmaur campus and is designed to help learners understand how AI transforms business operations, improves productivity and supports data-driven decision-making. It also trains professionals to work effectively with AI-enabled systems and teams.
MBA Designed For An AI-Driven Workplace
The programme combines management education with hands-on AI application. It offers five specialisations that reflect the changing needs of industries:
- AI-powered finance and fintech
- Marketing and growth using AI
- AI in operations and supply chain
- AI-enabled tourism management
- Business transformation with AI and agentic systems
Participants will learn to use more than 30 industry tools, including ChatGPT, Tableau, Looker Studio, Zapier and LangChain. They will also design AI-based business workflows, giving them practical exposure beyond traditional classroom learning. A coding background is not required, and working professionals with a minimum of two years of experience are eligible.

Practical, Industry-Focused Training
The curriculum follows an execution-first model, combining theory with real-world application. Learners will participate in AI labs, simulations, capstone projects and guided industry assignments. Through the Futurense AI Clinic, they will work on enterprise-level problem statements to gain experience in modern business challenges.
Program Structure
The MBA includes live online classes along with mandatory on-campus immersions that provide leadership sessions, hands-on labs and a structured learning experience in the Himalayan setting of IIM Sirmaur.
