They say that if you love someone with complete sincerity, the universe finds a way to unite you. While you may have read several love stories of Indian cricketers, the one we are talking about today is truly exceptional. This is the story of Indian all-rounder Shivam Dubey, who fell in love with a woman six years older than him — and later married her.

What makes their story stand out even more is that his wife comes from a Muslim family. Despite cultural and religious hurdles, the couple chose love over everything else, breaking barriers many hesitate to cross. Shivam Dube fell in love with Anjum Khan, who is now his wife. They first met through a mutual friend and dated quietly for some time before tying the knot in 2021.

Initially, both families were hesitant about the marriage due to religious differences. Shivam comes from a Hindu family, while Anjum belongs to a Muslim household. But the strength of their bond eventually convinced both sides, leading to a beautiful wedding in 2021, conducted according to both Hindu and Muslim rituals. The couple later shared their wedding pictures on social media.

According to media reports, Anjum Khan was born on 2 September 1986 in Uttar Pradesh. She completed her Fine Arts education from Aligarh Muslim University, after which she entered the fields of acting and modelling. She has appeared in Hindi TV serials, music albums, and has also worked as a professional voice-over artist in Bollywood. Anjum is quite active on social media as well.

Shivam and Anjum are now parents to two children. A year after their marriage, Anjum gave birth to their first child, a son named Ayaan. In January 2025, the couple welcomed their second child, a daughter, whom they named Mahvish.

On the professional front, Shivam DubeT continues to represent India in T20 Internationals. He made his international debut in 2019 and has since played 46 T20Is, scoring 607 runs. Recently, he played in the T20I series against Australia and was also a part of the Asia Cup 2025 winning squad. Shivam is also expected to feature in the upcoming T20 series against South Africa.
