The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has updated the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule for the second round. As per the revised timetable, round 2 registration will begin on December 5. The updated schedule is available on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
The registration process will begin at 12 pm on December 5, with the payment option available until 3 pm on December 9, 2025. Choice filling will start on December 6 and will continue until 11:55 pm on December 9, 2025.
This change follows MCC’s addition of 239 PG seats for deemed universities and the removal of 235 PG DNB seats across 186 government and 49 private colleges.
Choice locking is scheduled from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on December 9. Seat allocation will occur between December 10 and 11, with the results being announced on December 12. According to the revised schedule, the sharing of joined candidates will be announced between December 22 and 23.
MCC announced the NEET PG counselling 2025 round 1 seat allotment results on November 21. A total of 26,889 candidates, including 466 Non-Resident Indians (NRI), were allocated seats in the first round of counselling.
Candidates seeking admission to 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses at various government and private institutions, as well as 100 per cent seats in deemed and central universities, will be able to apply on the official website once the link is activated.

Step 3: Enter your registration number and other required details
Step 4: Submit your choice of colleges and other preferences
Step 5: Submit. Save and download the page for further use.
MCC conducts four rounds of All India Quota (AIQ) counselling for NEET PG candidates. These rounds include Round 1, Round 2, the Mop-up round, and the Stray vacancy round. The committee manages the counselling for 50 per cent of AIQ PG seats in colleges under the Employee State Insurance Corporation (for wards of ESIC insured persons) and all PG seats in Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
