Lewis Hamilton insists he has “no regrets” about joining Ferrari — which is bold, considering his first season in red is turning into the motorsport equivalent of stepping on a LEGO barefoot.

The seven-time world champion shocked the paddock by ditching Mercedes for Ferrari in 2025, triggering feverish predictions of a title renaissance.

Instead, Hamilton has endured what he himself calls his “worst season ever”, sitting 74 points behind teammate Charles Leclerc and collecting exactly zero Grand Prix podiums.

His biggest high? Winning the China Sprint… eight months ago.

And Vegas? In the words of one Jose Mourinho, he’d prefer not to speak.

Hamilton qualified 20th — dead last — on pure pace for the first time in his 18-year career. Even he admitted it was rock bottom.

But regret? Absolutely not.

“I don’t regret the decision,” Hamilton said ahead of the Qatar GP. “It takes time to build and grow within an organisation. I expected that.”

When pressed on whether he’d still sign for Ferrari knowing how 2025 has gone, Hamilton dodged the question quicker than Verstappen did with Norris in Turn 1 at Vegas:

“That’s a hypothetical question. So, I wouldn’t go into that.”

Only two races remain for Hamilton to avoid the first podium-less season of his storied career.

Meanwhile, at Ferrari….

The Scuderia are having a meltdown of their own.

Ferrari remain winless in 2025 and have slumped to fourth in the constructors’ standings after challenging McLaren for second last year. Their Vegas showing marked another grim milestone: the first time a Ferrari qualified last on pure pace since Abu Dhabi 2009.

With form dipping sharply and pressure mounting, the question looms large: Who can rescue the Scuderia from their latest crisis?
