The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released a list of 7,448 proposed exam centres for the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations scheduled for 2026. Students registered for the exams can submit objections or corrections related to the centre list until December 4. All objections will be reviewed by December 11, after which the final list of centres will be uploaded on the official website upmsp.edu.in.

The number of exam centres has been reduced this year. In 2024, UPMSP allocated 7,657 centres, while in the 2023–24 session the total was 8,265. The cut in exam locations is aimed at improving administrative efficiency and reducing the scope for irregularities.

UP Board secretary Bhagwati Singh said that the proposed exam centre list was prepared using verified school data collected by the tehsil-level committee. The list has been made public on upmsp.edu.in for review by the District Centre Determination Committee, chaired by the district magistrate.

Students, parents, school principals, or school authorities who wish to object to the assigned centres can do so online on the UP Board portal by submitting the prescribed format along with supporting evidence. Objections will be accepted only until December 4. After this, the district school inspector will review all submissions and forward recommendations to the District Centre Determination Committee. The updated and finalised list will then be released on December 11.

To support students during the process, UPMSP has also introduced a dedicated toll-free helpdesk. Candidates can call 18001805310 or 18001805312 to raise concerns or seek clarification related to the UP Board 2026 examinations.
