The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), Delhi has released the online seat allocation schedule for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) January 2026. Those who passed the INI CET January 2026 exam may take part in the counselling process by visiting the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in.
According to the official announcement, INI CET January 2026 mock round choice-filling process for postgraduate course admission has begun today, December 6. Candidates have till December 9 up to 5 pm to select their preferred institutes and disciplines.
“The Eligible candidate can access the online seat allocation portal through link available after login in their login page where they have applied for INICET January 2026 Session. Click on Seat allocation button to proceed to exercise choices (Institute and subject/speciality) and their order,” states the official notice.
AIIMS INI CET January 2026 Counselling Schedule
Two rounds of online seat distribution will take place. Check schedule for the first round below:
Exercising of Choices (Institute and subject/speciality) for Mock Round — From 06.12.2025 (Saturday) to 09.12.2025 up to 05.00 pm (Tuesday)
Announcement of Seat allocation of Mock of 1st Round — 11.12.2025 (Thursday)
Exercising of Choices (Institute and subject/speciality) for 1st Round — From 12.12.2025 (Friday) to 13.12.2025 up to 05:00 PM (Saturday)
Announcement of seat allocation of 1st Round — 18.12.2025 (Thursday)
Online Acceptance of allocated seat — From 19.12.2025, 11.00 am (Friday) to 24.12.2025 up to 05.00 pm (Wednesday)
Reporting & Submission of Documents/Security Deposit — From 19.12.2025, 11.00 am (Friday) to 24.12.2025 up to 05.00 pm (Wednesday)
Candidates should be aware that the entire counselling procedure takes place online. AIIMS INI CET 2026 counselling will be available to those who meet the exam’s minimum cutoff scores. There will be four rounds of counselling in total for seat distribution, including practice sessions. The January session of INI CET 2026 counselling includes registration, choice declaration, seat processing, seat allocation results, and rerouting to designated institutions.
The INI CET counselling 2026 is conducted for admission to postgraduate programs at INI’s Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Master of Chirurgiae (MCH), and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS).
