CA Exam May 2026: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the schedule for the CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, and CA Final exams to be held in May 2026. The exams will commence on May 2 and run until May 20. It will be conducted in different shifts.
Candidates can register for the Foundation, Intermediate, or Final exams through the online portal, eservices.icai.org (Self-Service Portal – SSP). Applications for the 2026 exam will open on March 3, 2026, and close on March 16, 2026. The correction window for making any changes to the application form will be available from March 20-22, 2026.
Applicants must also pay the required examination fees. The last date for submitting online applications with a late fee of Rs 600 is March 19, 2026.
ICAI CA Final Exam Schedule:
Group-2: May 8, 10, and 12, 2026
ICAI CA Intermediate Exam Schedule:
Group-1: May 3, 5, and 7, 2026
Group-2: May 9, 11, and 13, 2026
ICAI CA Foundation Exam Schedule:
May 14, 16, 18, and 20, 2026
Exam timings:
Paper-1 and Paper-2 (Foundation) – 2 PM to 5 PM
Paper-3 and Paper-4 (Foundation): 2 PM to 4 PM
Intermediate Final Paper-1 to 5: 2 PM to 4 PM
Final Paper-6: 2 PM to 6 PM
Candidates will receive an extra 15 minutes reading time from 1.45 PM to 2 PM for all papers except Foundation Paper 3 and 4. Applicants for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams can choose to answer in English or Hindi.

Step 1: Visit the official ICAI website at eservices.icai.org.
Step 2: Log in using your existing credentials or register as a new user.
Step 3: Choose the exam level – Foundation, Intermediate or Final.
Step 4: Fill in your details, including exam city and language medium.
Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the prescribed examination fee.
Step 6: Review the form carefully, submit it and download the confirmation page for future reference.
“It may be emphasised that there would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination schedule being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Bodies. Paper(s) 3 and 4 of Foundation Examination are of 2 hours duration. Similarly, Paper – 6 of Final Examination and all papers of International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) are of 4 hours duration,” states the official notice by the ICAI.
