HTET 2025 application deadline extended till January 5, 2026.

The Board of School Education, Haryana has extended the registration deadline for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2025. Candidates can now apply online till January 5, 2026 (midnight) through the official website at bseh.org.in.

According to the board, applicants do not need an Aadhaar card to complete the registration process. The correction window will also close on January 5, allowing candidates to make changes to their application details till the end of the day.

Candidates can edit their personal details, photograph, signature, thumb impression, exam level, subject selection (for Level 2 and Level 3), caste category, disability category and home state during the correction period.

How To Apply For HTET 2025?

Candidates can apply for HTET 2025 by following these steps:

  • Visit the official website bseh.org.in.
  • Click on the “Apply Online for HTET 2025″ link on the homepage.
  • Register using the required details.
  • Log in to the account after registration.
  • Fill in the application form and pay the application fee.
  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
  • Keep a printed copy for future reference.

HTET 2025 Exam Date & Pattern

The HTET 2025 examination is likely to be conducted on January 17 and 18. All questions, except those related to language subjects, will be bilingual — Hindi and English. The exam duration will be 150 minutes.

The examination will be held in offline mode using OMR answer sheets. The paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, with one mark for each question, making the total marks 150. There will be no negative marking.

Section-Wise Question Distribution

The paper includes:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions
  • Hindi: 15 questions
  • English: 15 questions
  • General Studies: 60 questions, covering Haryana general knowledge, reasoning, mathematics, science and social studies

For Level 2 and Level 3, candidates will also have a subject-specific section of 30 questions, based on the teaching subject chosen by the candidate.
