The AP TET results for the Teacher Eligibility Test conducted in Andhra Pradesh (AP TET 2025) have been officially released. Announced by AP TET Convener Venkata Krishna Reddy, these results carry significant importance for thousands of candidates aspiring to secure teaching jobs.
This year, AP TET saw an overwhelming response. A total of 2,71,692 candidates applied, with 2,48,427 of them appearing for the exam, marking the highest participation rate among applicants.
According to the latest results, 97,560 candidates have passed the TET exam, resulting in a pass percentage of 39.27 per cent. Qualified candidates will now be eligible to participate in the upcoming teacher recruitment. Candidates who qualified AP TET 2025 paper 1 will be eligible to teach in classes 1 to 5 and the candidates who cleared paper 2 will be eligible to teach classes 6 to 8. Candidates must note that the AP TET certificate is valid for a lifetime.
The convener explained that a provisional key was initially released as part of the examination management process. The final results were declared after thoroughly examining and addressing the candidates’ objections. This process has reinforced the candidates’ confidence in the results.
The AP TET 2025 examination was conducted from December 10, 2025, onwards. The test was held in two sessions each day, with the first session running from 9.30 am to 12 noon and the second session from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. The examination was conducted in online mode across all district headquarters, municipalities, revenue divisions and mandals in Andhra Pradesh.
All questions in the examination were multiple-choice questions, carrying one mark each. Candidates were given four options for every question, with one correct answer. There was no negative marking.
Candidates must secure 60 per cent or above to pass the exam. Candidates belonging to the BC category, are required to secure 50 per cent and above marks.
Candidates can check their TET results through the official websites — tet2dsc.apcfss.in or cse.ap.gov.in. Alternatively, results can be accessed by sending a message to the WhatsApp number 9552300009, as stated by the TET convener.
How To Check AP TET Results 2025?
Step 1: Visit the AP TET website — aptet.apcfss.in.
Step 2: Click on the result link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter the required credentials.
Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download and keep a hard copy for future reference.
Additionally, results for in-service teachers were also declared. Out of 31,886 in-service teachers who took the exam, 15,239 (47.82 per cent) passed, highlighting the dedication of current teachers to improving their qualifications.
