Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced that Pariksha Pe Charcha’s episode will be aired on February 6. Sharing the update on X, the Prime Minister said the annual interaction with students has returned ahead of exams.

“As the Parikshas are approaching, #ParikshaPeCharcha is back too! This time, the Charcha happened with #ExamWarriors in Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, Guwahati and at 7, LKM in Delhi. As always, it is refreshing to interact with my young friends and discuss stress free exams and several other things. Do watch the PPC Episode on 6th February!,” PM Modi wrote on X.

In a post shared on X, Dharmendra Pradhan said the wait for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 is nearing its end and described the upcoming edition as being organised in a “unique and extensive” manner.

The Education Minister invited students, parents, and teachers to take part in the programme and urged students to overcome exam-related fear through confidence and positive thinking.

He also said that Narendra Modi will respond to students’ questions on board examinations and preparation strategies. The Prime Minister, he added, will also focus on making parents and teachers more aware of issues related to children’s mental health.

The 2026 edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha has seen record participation across the country. More than 4.5 crore registrations were recorded for the programme, reflecting wide interest among students, parents, and teachers. In addition, around 2.26 crore people participated in activities linked to the initiative, taking the total participation to over 6.76 crore nationwide.

The programme will be broadcast live on multiple platforms, including Doordarshan channels such as DD National, DD News, and DD India, along with several leading private television channels. It will also be aired on All India Radio (MW and FM) and streamed on the digital platforms of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the Ministry of Education, ensuring wide access for viewers across the country.

During the interaction, the Prime Minister will respond to questions raised by students on issues related to exam stress, preparation strategies, and overall well-being. This year, registrations have crossed 4 crore, with participation not only from students but also from parents and teachers, highlighting the growing reach of the initiative.

The themes selected for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 reflect a broad focus beyond examinations. These include Make Exams a Celebration, Contribution of Our Freedom Fighters, Save the Environment, and Clean India, encouraging students to think about wider social and national issues alongside academics.
