The Uttarakhand School Education Department has announced the recruitment of 2,364 Class IV employees for various offices and schools. Interested candidates can apply online through the Prayag portal at rojgarprayag.uk.gov.in. The deadline for submitting applications for this outsourcing recruitment is March 5. Priority will be given to local youth.
State Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat stated that these vacant positions will be filled through outsourcing. District-wise vacancies for Class IV are listed on the Rojgar Prayag portal. The notification specifies the following vacancies: 135 in Uttarkashi, 106 in Rudraprayag, 268 in Tehri, 182 in Udham Singh Nagar, 197 in Pithoragarh, 340 in Pauri, 89 in Bageshwar, 254 in Almora, 179 in Chamoli, 120 in Champawat, 195 in Dehradun, 91 in Haridwar, and 208 in Nainital.
Honorarium
Selected Class IV employees will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 15,000. This recruitment aims to improve sanitation, maintenance, and other support functions in state schools. The department assures that the selection process will be completely transparent, with a focus on hiring locally qualified candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have at least a high school (10th grade) certificate from a recognised board. For some positions, candidates with an eighth-grade pass may also be considered eligible, as detailed in the notification on the Rojgar Prayag portal.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 42 years of age. As per state government regulations, there is a provision for age relaxation for reserved categories.
Local residency is desirable since preference will be given to local youth in the recruitment process. The selection will be conducted through an outsourcing agency.
