The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the UGC NET Result 2025 on February 4. Candidates who appeared for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) can check their results on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The UGC NET December examination was conducted from December 31 to January 7, 2026. The test was held in two shifts each day — the first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The provisional answer key was released on January 14, 2026, and candidates were allowed to raise objections till January 17, 2026. Those who challenged the provisional key were required to pay a processing fee of Rs 200 for each objection.
Along with the results, the NTA has also released the final answer key for the December session. The final key was prepared after subject experts reviewed all objections submitted by candidates.
The results have been calculated on the basis of this final answer key, and no further challenges will be accepted. Candidates can download the final answer key from the official website to compare their responses and understand how their scores were worked out.

- Submit the details to view the result.

Candidates who qualify for JRF will be eligible for fellowship benefits as per UGC norms. Those qualifying for Assistant Professor can apply for teaching positions in colleges and universities. Candidates declared eligible for PhD can seek admission in line with the rules of the respective institutions.
