- Waiting period depends on engine and colour, not transmission
- In colours, the waiting period is the shortest for white and black
2026 Kia Seltos waiting period details
Waiting period differs according to engine, colour option
According to our dealer sources, demand for the Kia Seltos’s diesel engine is higher, resulting in a longer waiting period of 6-8 weeks compared to 4-6 weeks for the naturally aspirated petrol and turbo-petrol options. Notably, the waiting period for the Seltos depends only on the engine and is not linked to the transmission choice.
The 2026 Kia Seltos is offered in seven trims: HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), HTX, GTX and X-Line.
The dealer sources also indicated that the Glacier White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl colours have the shortest waiting period of up to 6 weeks, while buyers need to wait for up to 8 weeks for Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue and Magma Red shades. Other colour options on the Seltos include Morning Haze, Frost Blue, Ivory Silver Gloss, Gravity Gray and Xclusive Matte, which, too, have a waiting period of over 6 weeks.
The new Seltos comes with three engine options: a 115hp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 160hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 116hp 1.5-litre diesel, all offered with a choice of manual and automatic gearboxes.
Priced from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh, the 2026 Kia Seltos locks horns with popular midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq and Honda Elevate.
All prices are ex-showroom, India.
