Hyundai has refreshed the i20 line-up by bringing back the ‘Era’ trim. With this, the starting price of the hatchback has fallen by about Rs 74,000. Moreover, the carmaker has reduced prices for the mid-level Magna Executive and Magna trims.

10.1-in infotainment system available as dealer-level fitment for Rs 15,000
Hyundai has priced the new i20 Era trim at Rs 5.99 lakh and slashed prices of the Magna Executive and Magna trims by Rs 13,000. The Era trim features six airbags, a digital instrument cluster, front and rear skid plates, body coloured outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) and door handles, a type-C port and telescopic steering adjustment.
Also, for an additional Rs 15,000, Hyundai is now offering a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a rearview camera as dealer-level fitment backed by a 3-year warranty.
Powering the Hyundai i20 is a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 83hp (88hp with CVT) and 115Nm of torque. This mill is available with a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox, depending on the trim. The i20 goes up against the likes of the Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza and Tata Altroz.
