Who says big dreams can’t rise from small towns? Priyanka Pareek from Merta in Rajasthan’s Nagaur district has proved that determination, discipline, and hard work can take you to the global stage. With sheer grit, she has been selected by tech giant Meta for a key role in London as a Solutions Architect, an achievement that has brought pride not only to her family but to the entire region.

Priyanka’s success is not just about securing a prestigious position or an impressive annual package of around Rs 1.6 crore. It stands as an inspiration for countless young people from small towns who aspire to make their mark internationally. At the core of her journey lies unwavering family support. Her father, Suresh Pareek, stood by her from her early education through higher studies, guiding her at every step. Her mother, Shobha Pareek, ensured that Priyanka was never confined to traditional expectations and was always encouraged to dream big.

Growing up in a small-town and rural environment, Priyanka faced her share of challenges. She admits that her journey was far from easy, with setbacks and moments of disappointment along the way. Yet, her parents’ trust, her own self-belief, and relentless effort became her strongest pillars. Even when she failed in her initial attempts to crack top tech companies, her family motivated her to persevere rather than give up.

While living in London, Priyanka decided to try again, and this time, her hard work paid off. She credits her success to the constant encouragement and confidence instilled in her by her family, saying that without their support, this milestone would not have been possible. Today, her journey motivates many young aspirants who see their own dreams reflected in her story.

Academically, Priyanka’s path has been equally impressive. She completed her schooling at Delhi Public School in Bengaluru and went on to earn a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Modi University. Soon after graduating, she was selected as a software developer at Barclays, a renowned British bank with a history spanning over 300 years, where she worked in Pune. Alongside her job, she prepared for the GRE and scored an outstanding 331 out of 340, emerging as a topper, clear proof of her discipline and focus.

She later completed her master’s degree at London Business School. During and after her studies, Priyanka appeared for rigorous selection processes at global tech leaders such as Google, Amazon, and Meta. Although she did not succeed initially, she treated every rejection as a lesson. By strengthening her technical skills, system design knowledge, and business-oriented thinking, she steadily improved. With patience, self-reflection, and consistent effort, Priyanka Pareek finally secured her place on the global tech platform, turning a small-town dream into an international reality.
