To prevent cheating during the 2026 high school and intermediate examinations, the UP Board has printed the cover pages of answer sheets in specific colors. This will make it immediately clear at the exam center which student has which copy:

Intermediate (Class 12): The main ‘A’ copy (24 pages) will be magenta (dark pink/purple). The supplementary ‘B’ copy (12 pages) will be green.

High School (Class 10): The main ‘A’ copy (18 pages) will be brown. The supplementary ‘B’ copy will also be green.

Until now, answer sheets for the 2026 UP Board exams were landscape (widthwise), which made it difficult for students to write on them. For the 2026 UP Board exams, answer sheets will be in portrait (lengthwise) layout, similar to how students write in their class notebooks. This change was made to improve students’ writing speed and clarity.
