Nagpur: A mock drill simulating a full emergency in case of an air crash was held at the Nagpur airport on Monday. The exercise was coordinated by Central Industrial Security Force and participated by the police, NMC firefighting dept, as well as airport operator Mihan India Limited.The situation enacted in the drill was to rescue 22 injured passengers stranded in the plane after a crash. A green channel was created along Wardha Road to carry away the injured passengers. The practice included smoothly bringing in the ambulances from the city to take away the passengers, said a source.
