IIT Madras Pravartak launches a four month Generative AI and Agentic AI executive course for working professionals.
The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, through IIT Madras Pravartak, its Technology Innovation Hub funded by the Department of Science and Technology, has launched an executive programme on Generative AI and Agentic AI tools for business. The course has been introduced in collaboration with Emeritus.
The four month online programme aims to help working professionals learn practical uses of AI in business without requiring prior technical or programming knowledge.
According to a press statement issued by the institute, the course focuses on enabling participants to apply Generative AI and Agentic AI directly in business workflows. It has been designed for business executives, managers, consultants, entrepreneurs and functional leaders across areas such as strategy, operations, marketing, finance, human resources, consulting and product management.
The programme emphasises real world use rather than theory and will allow learners to work with no code and low code tools. It includes more than 20 hands on projects and over 25 business oriented use cases so that participants can apply their learning during the course itself.
Speaking on the launch, Laxminarayan G, Guest Faculty at IITM Pravartak, said, “Generative AI and Agentic AI represent a significant evolution in how businesses operate and compete. This programme is designed to help business professionals develop applied AI capabilities that translate directly into workplace impact, enabling them to lead confidently in an AI-driven economy.”

The online course will begin on March 30, 2026. Graduates and diploma holders with at least five years of work experience are eligible to apply.
