Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the KTET 2026 notification. The registration will begin on February 26 and will continue till March 7.

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has issued the notification for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) February 2026 cycle on its official website. The state-level examination is held for candidates seeking teaching jobs in government and private schools across Kerala.
According to the notification, the online application process will begin on February 26 and continue till March 7, 2026. The examination date has not been announced yet.
General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500, while SC, ST and Persons with Disabilities (PH) applicants will pay Rs 250.

The KTET will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. Each paper will have 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks and the duration of the exam will be two hours and 30 minutes.
The exam is conducted in four categories — Category I for Lower Primary classes, Category II for Upper Primary classes, Category III for High School classes, and Category IV for Language and Specialist Teachers, including Physical Education instructors.

Candidates can apply online by following these steps:

Step 2: Click on the “Registration” link on the homepage
Step 3: Complete registration by entering personal details to generate login credentials
Step 4: Log in and fill the application form with communication details and educational qualifications
Step 5: Upload required documents as per specifications
Step 6: Review the details and pay the application fee
Step 7: Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference
