To mark 50 years of the famed 5-cylinder engine, Audi recently revealed the RS3 Competition Limited. Restricted to a total of 750 units, 165 units of which are sedans and the remaining 585 are hatchbacks, the special edition model is likely to mark the end of life for the current-generation RS3 model, and hence the 5-cylinder engine. Hardware changes in the Audi RS3 Competition Limited include new manually adjustable coil-over dampers, a stiffer stabiliser bar, a more aggressive torque splitter, carbon ceramic front brakes, semi-slick tyres and functional aero additions. However, it continues with the same 2.5-litre engine that produces 400hp and 500Nm. Audi claims a 0-100kph sprint time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 290kph.
