The office of the Director of Government Examinations (DGE) Telangana has released sample copies of the OMR sheet and answer booklet for students appearing in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Public Examinations starting March 14. The move is aimed at helping candidates understand the exam format in advance.
According to the board, the system of attaching an Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet to the answer booklet, introduced last year, will continue for the March-April 2026 examination session. Students will have to use the OMR sheet provided along with their answer booklet during the exam.
Officials said the sample OMR sheets and answer booklet formats have been uploaded on the official websites of the board so that students can familiarise themselves with the format before the examination.
Candidates have been advised to download the sample sheets and practise filling them out to avoid mistakes while entering details during the exam.
The TS SSC examinations will be conducted from March 14 to April 16. A total of 5,28,239 students will appear for the exams at 2,676 centres across Telangana.
The exams will begin with the first language (group A) / first language part-I (composite course) / first language part-II (composite course) paper on March 14. This will be followed by the second language exam on March 18 and the third language (English) exam on March 23.
Most papers will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. However, the schedule may vary for the first language (composite course) and science examinations.

The board has already released the TS Class 10 admit cards. Students can collect their TS SSC 2026 hall tickets from their respective schools. The hall tickets were dispatched to schools earlier through speed post.
In addition, students can also access their hall tickets through WhatsApp by sending a message “Hi” followed by “SSC Hall Ticket March-2026″ to the number 8096958096.
Last year, the TS SSC exams began on March 21 and ended on April 4. In 2024, the exams were conducted from March 18 to April, while in 2023 the TS SSC Class 10 exams were held from April 3 to April 13.
