The first stage is the Preliminary Examination, the second is the Main Examination, and the final stage is the Physical Eligibility and Efficiency Test. Candidates must qualify in each stage to move forward in the selection process. Those who have now cleared the preliminary exam will advanced to the main examination.
The main exam will have two papers. The first paper will be on General Hindi with 100 questions carrying 200 marks, to be completed in two hours. Candidates need to score at least 30 percent marks in this paper, though the marks will not be counted for merit. The second paper will cover subjects such as General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics, and Mental Ability. This paper will also have 100 questions for 200 marks and will be of two hours duration. Negative marking of 0.2 marks per wrong answer will apply in both papers.
To be eligible for this recruitment, candidates must be Indian citizens. They should have completed their graduation from a recognised university or its equivalent by August 1, 2025. The age limit varies by category. For the general category male candidates, the age should be between 20 and 37 years, while for the general category females, it is between 20 and 40 years. For candidates belonging to Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes, the age limit is 20 to 40 years, and for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, it is 20 to 42 years.
