Their father, Awadh Bihari Singh, works as a clerk at Devaraha Baba Inter College. Coming from a modest background, the family faced financial constraints, yet he remained committed to his children’s education. He shared that despite hardships, he never gave up, and support from relatives, friends, and the community played a crucial role in their journey and success.
Education And Academic Journey
The three brothers grew up with strong academic aspirations. While the youngest, Aniket Singh, is still studying, Abhishek and Animesh were determined to enter the civil services.
Abhishek completed his early education in local schools before pursuing intermediate studies at SSBL Deoria Inter College. He later went on to study engineering at IIT Madras and continued his higher education at Delhi University.
Animesh studied at Saraswati Vidya Mandir and later completed his MSc from Jamia Millia Islamia.
Preparation In Delhi And Unwavering Persistence
Both brothers moved to Delhi, where they prepared for competitive exams together. Abhishek, being the elder, played a guiding role in Animesh’s preparation. They initially aimed for the IAS exam but were unsuccessful. However, instead of giving up, they redirected their focus towards the UPPSC PCS exam with renewed determination.
Their persistence paid off when both brothers cleared the PCS examination in their very first attempt, bringing immense pride to their family. Their achievement stands out not only because of the success but also because of the shared journey and mutual support that led to it.
Joy Across The Village And Official Recognition
As news of their success spread, the entire village erupted in celebration. Well-wishers have been visiting their home to congratulate the family. Their father proudly credits his sons’ dedication and their strong bond for this achievement.
The district administration also acknowledged their success, with the district magistrate extending congratulations. Notably, among eight successful candidates from Deoria district, both brothers have secured a place.
