Assam HS result 2026 will not be announced today, April 17, Cabinet Minister for Higher and School Education Ranoj Pegu has confirmed. Despite several social media posts claiming that the Class 12 Assam results would be declared today, the minister has dismissed the circulating online news as a “rumour”.
Dissatisfied with the minister’s post, some students have demanded an official notification specifying the exact date and time for the release of the Assam HS result 2026.
“Sir, this is causing me a lot of stress. Please tell us when you are going to announce it,” one user commented.
While another said: “Just give as exact date will you , its getting frustrating with all this fake news , can’t you just give us a exact date?”
When Is Result Expected?
Last year, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) announced the Assam HS Result 2025 on April 30. Hence, this year too, the scorecards are expected to be out by April-end.
Students who took the Class 12 board exams will be able to access and download their digital marksheets from the official AHSEC websites – ahsec.assam.gov.in and assamresult.in, once out. Besides the official websites, students can also access their results via third-party portals and the mobile application ‘UPOLOBDHA’. Candidates are recommended to download the app from the Play Store before the results are made available.
How Can I Check The 12th Result In Assam?
— Visit the Official Website: Open ahsec.assam.gov.in.
— Locate the Result Link: On the homepage, locate and click on the link titled “HS Final Year Result 2026″.
— Enter Your Details: Enter your Roll Number and Registration Number exactly as mentioned on your admit card.
— Submit and View: Press ‘Submit’ to see your result.
— Download and Print: Save the digital marksheet and print a copy for future use.
