The updated Honda City has just been launched in India. Apart from changes on the outside, Honda has also executed a few tweaks on the inside of the 2026 City. However, these aren’t as comprehensive as the former. The City petrol continues to be powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic. Meanwhile, the City hybrid (“e:HEV” in Honda’s parlance) pairs the 1.5-litre mill with two electric motors for a combined output of 126hp and 253Nm of torque. It’s only offered with an e-CVT gearbox.
