CBSE 12th results 2026 were released on May 13 at cbse.gov.in.

The last date for submission of applications for verification and re-evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets will end today, CBSE said.

Students who wish to apply for Verification of Issues Observed and Re-evaluation of Answers for the Class 12 Examination 2026 can do so through the board’s post-result services portal.

According to CBSE, applications must be submitted before the deadline on June 7. The portal will remain open until 11:59 PM on Sunday.

Candidates have been advised to complete the application process and submit their requests before the portal closes.

The CBSE, on June 2, opened the online portal for verification of issues observed in scanned copies of answer books and re-evaluation of answers for students dissatisfied with their board exam evaluation.

The previous deadline of June 6 was extended to June 7 (midnight) by the board after several students flagged issues in accessing answer books and applying for verification and re-evaluation on the CBSE’s post-result services portal.

The board had stated that students seeking verification of issues in scanned copies of their answer books could report problems, including missing pages, omitted supplementary sheets, absent maps or graphs, blurred pages, incorrect answer books, or evaluation carried out against a different question paper set.

The CBSE has come under scrutiny after several Class 12 students alleged that the scanned copies of their answer sheets uploaded by the board did not match their handwriting, prompting concerns over possible discrepancies in the on-screen marking (OSM) system.

Amid the controversy, the Cabinet Secretariat announced the constitution of a one-member committee to examine the procurement of services related to the OSM system by the CBSE.
