When Adidas reports on Thursday, Wall Street analysts and experts are looking for an optimistic revenue forecast and solid quarterly results, which could have seen an immense jump from the FIFA World Cup that wrapped up this month and also maybe a comeback in China.
Ahead of the World Cup, Adidas announced that its new federation kits would be worn by ** teams, marking the return of Adidas Trefoil, Adidas’ mark of originality to a World Cup pitch after ** years, reintroduced through the away designs.
The German-based sportswear maker used CLIMACOOL+ materials in jerseys to keep players cool and dry under pressure, while the latest evolution in performance innovation, the CLIMACOOL SYSTEM, was engineered to deliver cooling solutions for teams and players.
This was an on-the-pitch sports activation that Adidas undertook, while off the pitch, in collaboration with key partners, it created several products that were a part of its attempt to pay “tribute to football culture of the past – reimagined and built for today.”
