Germany’s Puma confirms VP Johan Adamsson’s exit after 25 years

Sports company PUMA has today announced that Johan Adamsson, VP Global Sports Marketing & Sports Licensing has decided to leave the company after more than 25 years for personal reasons. Johan will leave PUMA on August 31, 2026.

“Throughout his career at PUMA, Johan has played an important role in the development of our Sports Marketing organization and contributed to many of the athlete, team and federation partnerships that have helped strengthen PUMA’s position as a global sports brand,” said PUMA CEO Arthur Hoeld. “I would like to thank him for his commitment and dedication and wish him every success for the future.”

Puma has announced that Johan Adamsson, VP Global Sports Marketing & Sports Licensing, will leave the company on August 31, 2026 after more than 25 years for personal reasons.
CEO Arthur Hoeld will oversee Sports Marketing on an interim basis until a successor is named, with an announcement on future leadership expected soon.

Until a successor is announced, CEO Arthur Hoeld will lead Sports Marketing on an interim basis and oversee all related activities.
